Avatar e The Hurt Locker in vetta alle candidature con 9 nominations agli Oscar


Anne Hathaway ha appena annunciato le candidature principali alla 82esima edizione degli Academy Awards che avrà luogo il 7 Marzo al Kodak Theatre di Los Angeles.
Comandano la classifica delle nominations agli Oscar 2010 con 9 candidature Avatar di James Cameron e The Hurt Locker di Kathryn Bigelow, ex moglie proprio di quest'ultimo, che potrebbe diventare la prima donna nella storia degli Oscar ad assicurarsi la pregistiosa statuetta di migliore regista.

The Hurt Locker di Kathryn Bigelow proverà a passare agli annali come film più premiato e meno sostenuto dal pubblico, sperando che motivazioni politiche ed ideologiche non condizionino i giurati dell'Academy.

Il fatto che nella categoria Migliori Effetti Speciali nn ci siano nè Transformers2 nè Terminator Salvation la dice lunga su quanto ne capiscono all'accademy...

Concordo sugli effetti speciali visivi di Transformers 2, soprattutto prima dell'uscita di Avatar rappresentavano un importante riferimento nel campo dei Visual Effects, la Industrial Light & Magic è stata comunque candidata per Star Trek, magari loro stessi preferivano aumentare le quotazioni del titolo Star Trek "sacrificando" un blockbuster di per sè fortissimo come Transformers...

Purtroppo visto il largo successo al botteghino, penso che Avatar farà incetta di premi. Secondo me dal punto di vista del linguaggio cinematografico non ha dimostrato niente di innovativo e dopo un'ora e mezza di film, tutte le innovazioni tecnologiche hanno detto tutto.
